In order to take most college transfer courses, students must earn qualifying test scores (college readiness benchmark scores) on the Pre-ACT, ACT,  PSAT, SAT, or college placement tests.  Click the button below for those qualifiying scores.

Placement tests are being offered at this time at Martin Community College. Please email Crystal Waters  at crystal.waters@martincc.edu  to make an appointment.  You can also reach her by phone at 789-0868.  Testing is on:

Tuesdays from 1-6

Wednesdays from 2-5

Thursdays 2-5

If you have trouble achieving the benchmark score you need, but your GPA is a 3.5 or better, you may still be able to take the college transfer classes you want to take.  You just have to have passed

  • 2 years of high school English with a "C" or better.

  • Math III with a "C" or higher

  • Written approval of the principal and college president
